FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park Team Fundraiser Opportunity
FC Dallas, Centerplate and Pizza Hut Park are offering a fun and exciting opportunity for your team to raise funds to pay for dues, uniforms, tournaments, traveling expenses and other soccer related expenses.
Q: What is this all about?
A: No longer go door to door, organize car washes, or pick up and deliver products to family and friends for little or no profit. Instead, come to Pizza Hut Park and volunteer in a concession stand with your group member to raise funds. Once the event is over, so is the work. It's extremely convenient and its fun! Events may include FC Dallas Soccer games, International soccer games, concerts and Music Festivals.
Q: What are the advantages?
A: Training offered by Centerplate at no cost! No up-front or out of pocket expenses for your group! No maximum number of events to limit your group's earning potential. If your group brings 2 managers and 12 workers to an event, your group can earn about $600! If your stand sells $11,000 worth of product at the event, the group earns approximately $1,000 instead! There are no minimum or maximum number of events you must volunteer (at least 10 events maximizes your return on training time). We let YOU request the events at which you wish to volunteer.
Q: How does it work?
A: Each team will get a group of 4 or more parents who are interested in participating in this fundraiser. All parents participating must be TABC certified, which permits them to sell alcohol in the state of Texas. After you have received your TABC certification, your team is ready to start signing up to work events at the stadium. Your team will be assigned to a location and you will be responsible for managing the concession stand during that event. Each team will receive a percentage of the sales from each location that they work. Centerplate will make a contribution to each Non-profit group based on the net sales for each location they work. If you are unable to get 4 or more people on your team to participate please do not let this hinder you from volunteering.
Q: How much can I make?
A: This will depend on how many events your team chooses to work. A minimum payout for each event will be $35.00 per requested volunteer, and this will be for 5-6 hours of work. Most of the time the amount is greater than the $35 minimum and the minimum can be increased at the discretion of Centerplate management. Some group earnings have exceeded $9,000.
Your group will earn commission. The commission rates are as follows:
10% on all food sold (soccer)
8% on all beverages sold (soccer)
8% on all food sold (concert)
6% on all beverages sold (concert)
On top of these payouts, your group could be eligible for a bonus at the end of the 2011 season. For all those groups that work all of the pre-selected events, your group will receive a 1% bonus on all earnings posted for the entire season. This is huge!!
Q: When do I get paid?
A: Centerplate corporate office will distribute checks between 30-45 days after each event. The funds will be distributed into individual player accounts.

American Airlines Center Fundraising Opportunity
FC Dallas Youth Soccer Club is providing an opportunity for you as a parent to earn money for dues, uniforms, tournaments, traveling expenses, and other soccer related expenses. This opportunity is primarily for individual fund raising. If you want to be a part of a team fund raiser, this must be done in advance and you must contact Joel Loeb -joelloeb@verizon.net. Team fund raisers will require a minimum of six (6) workers that have completed all needed training.
Q: What is it?
A: You can work concessions during events that are held at American Airlines Center. These events include Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Vigilantes games. These also include concerts, ice shows, rodeos, and the circus.
Q: How does it work:
A: You must be TABC certified. TABC stands for Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission. This certification is good for two (2) years. You must also complete a 15 minute online LEVY training. LEVY is the food corporation that runs the concession stands. The last thing you must do is complete the American Airlines Center Training. These trainings are held once a month and are limited on the number of people that can attend. You will need to let Joel Loeb know when you wish to attend. The easiest and quickest way is to complete the LEVY training, come to the monthly meeting and complete your TABC and American Airlines training at the same time. You are then ready to work the next day. The TABC training costs $15.00.
Q: How much can I earn?
A: Monthly funds earned vary depending on the number of times you work and the individual events. An average event pays $50.00. This is for 4-5 hours of work. Most of the time the amount is more than $50.00. During the Dallas Stars' Play-Offs, average pay was $85.00 a night. This year's payout varied from $921.97-$5,492.82. Point being, you can earn as much as you need.
Q: How and when do I get paid?
A: Checks are issued once a month. For example, February checks will be issued in March so it is important to work in advance if you are trying to earn money for traveling expenses or tournaments. This way you will have your money before your trip. The checks are issued by FC Dallas and made out to your team. The manager will set up individual player accounts (within your team account) and your money can be received on request. These requests must be made in writing and must include the specific soccer related expense it is for.
